THE EXCHANGE

Bruntwood instructed Brown and Bancroft Interiors in 2019 to deliver a significant refurbishment project at The Exchange, a prominent commercial office building on New York Street in central Manchester.

The former BT Exchange, which offers flexible, open plan office suites across five floors, was transformed over a 12 week period with the creation of a fresh new reception space featuring a bronze anodised aluminium wall and ceiling, bespoke reception desk, collaborative meeting booths, touch down spaces and stylish lighting scheme. In addition, improvement works also took place in all common areas such as lift lobbies and toilets, and the project was completed with new external signage and the installation of a statement green wall.

Brown and Bancroft was selected for this project following the successful completion of a number of commissions at Bruntwood’s 111 Piccadilly.
