KINGS CHAMBERS PHASE 1

Specialist legal services firm, Kings Chambers, required a complete refurbishment of the reception area at its Young Street premises in Manchester city centre. Designed by Fletcher Rae Architects, Brown & Bancroft was appointed to deliver the scheme that has transformed a traditional entrance space into a contemporary, light and airy environment in which to welcome visitors to the office.

Works, which were completed in five weeks, included stripping out all existing wall and floor finishes, the installation of a bespoke reception desk and feature wall divides as well as the introduction of a refreshments station and flexible seating area.

Debbie Andres, Chambers Director at Kings Chambers, said: “Brown & Bancroft has been a delight to work with on this project. The key to the delivery, and the challenge we set the team, was that the reception area needed to remain functional at all times. I’m pleased to say that they rose to the challenge and executed the refurbishment with the highest respect for the business going on around it, they were in constant contact with us to keep us notified of the works taking place and what to expect of the area, and the care and attention to detail was exceptional.”
