GREATER MANCHESTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
GMCC were relocating from Churchgate House in Manchester to Elliot House on Deansgate. This project was an extremely fast turnaround and demonstrates what can be achieved in a very tight timescale.
The works consisted of creation of a new staff café space with full height glazed partitioning, installation of a new kitchen and furniture throughout. The open plan offices work well in the high ceiling space and the clever use of breakout spaces together with a feature dividing wall all add to the creative look and feel of this space. Existing carpet was utilised throughout with the addition of some feature carpet in key locations. A new member’s lounge was also created within the open plan environment providing a welcome space for members to utilise when required. A total of five meeting rooms in a Grade II listed building were also furnished to compliment the listed interior.
